CEE brings together leading program administrators, research organizations, federal agencies, and efficiency advocates from the United States and Canada to foster collaborative action that benefits customers, the environment, and the energy distribution systems we rely on. At the CEE Summer Program Meeting, CEE members work together to develop strategies that help drive market transformation for energy efficient and demand flexible solutions that reduce energy waste, enhance reliability, and support environmental protection.

Transition-AI 2025 brings together leaders in technology, finance, power markets, and energy and digital infrastructure development to explore how the landscape and options for powering data centers is evolving, and if it still can be accomplished sustainably. Through case studies, interactive discussions, and expert presentations, we’ll examine innovations in planning, developing, powering and financing the infrastructure necessary to meet the demand for AI computing.

Data centers are critical enabling infrastructure for the modern digital economy, and the bedrock for the development of Artificial Intelligence. Data center grid integration in the European power system is both a priority and a challenge for a range of stakeholders across the EU. EPRI will convene a roundtable of relevant stakeholders to outline the major challenges to data center deployment.

The emphasis of this workshop will be on the needs of the electric power sector for representing uncertainty within their long-term resource and transmission planning, with the objective of identifying the gaps between the best available methods and the needs of system planners. The program will include some focus talks, moderated group discussions, and small group breakout sessions.

Premier industry event focused on energy systems integration, forecasting, and market design

EPRI and Microsoft will speak on a virtual panel titled, "How is energy storage shaping the data center industry?" in which EPRI will discuss horizon scanning topics—what role do batteries play in data center growth?

This workshop is to bring various stakeholders together to identify challenges to meeting the decarbonized energy demands of data centers.  DOE plans to use this workshop to issue an RFI and help shape its future work in this area. We expect this workshop will include other areas outside of FECM as the new administration gets settled.

Collaborative forum that coordinates system planning activities across the Eastern Interconnection. Established in 2009, the EIPC brings together regional planning authorities to develop coordinated interregional analyses and provide policy makers and regulators with comprehensive, technically sound information. The conference focuses on enhancing grid reliability, integrating renewable energy sources, and addressing emerging challenges in the energy sector.
